More cool websites
Here are some more bicycle websites that I thought of this week…..
https://www.sheldonbrown.com/ So this is the ultimate website about bicycles. Or at least how they function and work. It includes information like all the tire sizes and why they are confusing. Bottom bracket standards, axle threadings, why french bikes are weird and hard to find parts for, All the multispeed internal hubs that exist out in the world. How to figure out what size gears to use. Much information on older stuff.
https://brainybiker.com/ This is a blog type website in question and answer form
at. Super awesome! Questions are usually “why can I do or not do this thing to my bike” and “what is the difference between this type of thing and this other type of thing” and “why does my bike do this”
https://bike.bikegremlin.com/ Similar to the two sites above. Lots of detailed info. more in depth on specifics then brainy biker and just different in look and feel then sheldon brown, more modern.
